Eager students wanted to fill open executive positions!

The English Society is looking for new executives! The following postions are availible:

President: Well they lead the organization not sure exactly how to describe this position.

Event co-ordinator: this person is responsible for planning and organizing both social and academic events ( they don't have to do this alone but they are sort of the ring leader)

Treasurer: This person is mainly respsonsible for financial matters

Communications Co-ordinator: Essentially you are our public relations officer. You are responsible for communicating with our members. You are responsible for helping to liason between English Society and other contacts or organizations such as ASU our governing body and SAGE. Between you and the vice-president you are also responsible for taking minutes at meetings.

Vice-President: You act as president in case of my abscence. You are responsible for facilitating all of the above duties. You are also expecting to develop new initiatives for the English Society and work on expanding our outreach. You shall work with the communications co-ordinator to develop contacts with the University community and the greater Waterloo region community in order to create productive relationships that benefit our members.

Meeting of the minds

Wednesday, September 13th
11:00 a.m. Hagey Hall Room 260

Would you like to be involved in the English Society? Do you have ideas for envy worthy events? Is there something the English Society can do for you? Want to meet some cool cats? Come to the English Society's first general meeting ( the meeting of the minds), and help us set the tone for the year. Bring friends! Refreshments will be provided.
