Then they decorate it by adding lights and lots of Christmas ornaments. Many of the ornaments are colourful, sparkling balls. Paper stars and pinecones don&#8217;t sparkle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt wasn&#8217;t boring at all,\u201d explains Oma Kati. \u201cThings were just different. Your opa\u00a0usually went to the forest with his\u00a0brother to cut down the most beautiful Christmas tree they\u00a0could find. They\u00a0set it up a few days before Christmas and I\u00a0decorated it with lovely candles, pinecones, paper stars, and apples. It was very beautiful.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Oh,&#8221; replies Timmy. He pictures going into the woods on a snowy winter day to cut down a tree.
