Research

My PhD thesis was a study of interwar slums in Toronto as housing market phenomena, and the subject of social scientific research and state regulation. I published one chapter in Histoire Sociale/Social History .  I plan to revise a chapter on housing code enforcement and local housing markets for submission.

My next project concerns land settlement (purchase, lease and squatting) in  Upper Canada/Canada West.
